The YMCA of Greater Montreal International Language School is more than just a school: it is part of a vast international YMCA organization that has centres in 130 countries.

Our new complex is situated in the downtown core, across the street from a metro (subway) station. Our school has 15 large bright classrooms and 2 computer language labs. You can have access to the internet as well as take advantage of the state-of-the-art sports facilities in our building which include a gym, swimming pools, a sauna, a fitness center with a jogging track and the latest exercise equipment, and courts for squash and racquetball. You can also join classes of Tai-Chi, yoga, aerobics, karate… You can do all this and put your new language skills to use in a bilingual environment, since most Montrealers using our facilities speak French and English. That's why we're unique! You're not just taking language courses; you are also participating in the social and cultural world of the YMCA.

Are you considering learning a second or third language? We offer part-time courses in Spanish, Italian and Portuguese taught by our dynamic staff of professional teachers who are certified to teach languages.

During the school year, September to May, we offer English and Spanish every Saturday to younger students between the ages of 9 and 17. The English department also offers intensive English courses every summer.
